This month our topic is 'Ourselves.' We will be talking about parts of the body, our characteristics, favourite things, how to look after ourselves and how we grow up from being a baby. We will still be talking about growth and life-cycles through animals, plants and people.

I Have 10 Little Fingers

I have ten little fingers and they all belong to me.

I can make them do things- would you like to see?

I can shut them up tight. I can open them wide.

I can put them all together. I can make them all hide.

I can make them jump high, I can make them jump low.

I can fold them up quietly and hold them just so.

Miss Polly

 

Miss Polly had a dolly who was sick, sick, sick.

So she phoned for the Doctor to come quick, quick, quick.

The Doctor came with his bag and his hat.

And he knocked on the door with a rat-a-tat-tat.

 

He looked at the dolly and he shook his head.

And he said “Miss Polly put her straight to bed.”

He wrote on his paper for a pill, pill, pill.

“I’ll be back in the morning for my bill, bill, bill.”
